You will be part of a high-performing global team covering Securities Lending, Repo, and synthetic financing products.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will contribute to business growth by identifying and executing trading opportunities, driving operational efficiencies, and building strong client relationships. You will support the sourcing and distribution of inventory, trade pricing, risk management, and the development of technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability. On a day-to-day basis, you will source, price, and distribute inventory across internal and external counterparties, while managing equity inventory, funding, liquidity, collateral, and balance sheet usage. You will monitor and communicate market risks and opportunities, maintain relationships with brokers, custodians, and institutional lenders, and contribute to strong risk management practices and operational controls. Working closely with global Equity Finance colleagues, you will also support process improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives to drive growth and efficiency across the business.

What You Offer
  • 2+ years of experience in trading, financing, trading risk, or a related role; exposure to Securities Borrowing & Lending, Securities Lending, Repo, or other Equity Finance products is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of equity market structure, financing products, collateral management, and risk management principles.
  • Python or similar programming experience preferred, along with advanced Excel skills and an interest in leveraging technology, analytics, and AI-driven tools to improve trading processes.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment and a demonstrated ability to evaluate risk versus reward.
  • Experience building relationships with clients, brokers, custodians, institutional lenders, or other market counterparties.
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving process improvements and maintaining strong controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

Salary range: $150,000–$200,000 per year. Actual salary may vary based on your experience, performance, and location. You may also be eligible for an annual incentive award.
