Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Entry Level Scientist - Raw Materials to perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses of pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products. You will operate HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/Vis, and other analytical systems, prepare samples, and help maintain GMP-compliant documentation.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience) and have US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels).
• Run instrumentation independently including various chromatographic systems and related analyses.
• Prepare samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis; document work for GMP compliance.
• Execute method transfer protocols; perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.
