Job summary

Globalstar is seeking a Junior Satellite Engineer to bridge the Satellite Engineering Team and the Operations Control Center. You will study subsystem designs, interface with payloads, and work with engineering and operations to ensure safe, reliable satellite service.

You will regularly engage with teams, document technical details, and contribute to problem-solving across disciplines. Willingness to travel and occasional after-hours work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent Satellite Operations Center experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Understand bus subsystem designs for each Globalstar satellite bus.
• Interface with satellite communications payloads.
• Interact with Satellite Engineering to understand spacecraft design and operations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service capability.
