Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Rail Systems Engineer focusing on Communications to support our Washington DC office. You will work with an elite group of rail systems professionals on North American projects, contributing to CCTV, CBTC, SCADA, and command/control systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration across offices worldwide, with opportunities to participate in testing and commissioning activities and multi-disciplinary integration in a fast-changing infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Work with rail systems design professionals on North American projects in heavy rail and transit markets.
• Participate in communications systems design, testing, and commissioning activities (CCTV, CBTC, SCADA, infotainment, command and control).
• Collaborate with team members locally and globally to achieve project objectives.
