Job summary

Tower Laboratories is seeking a chemist to perform lab testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products. The role supports QC and the Technical Department to ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory standards.

The position requires a BS in chemistry or related field and 1–2 years of lab experience, with hands-on use of HPLC, UV-Vis, AAS, KF, IR, and titration. On-site work with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biology or related sciences.
• 1–2 years of experience in chemical laboratory operations.
• Good lab/analytical technique in support of chemical and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with pharmaceutical lab equipment including HPLC, UV-Vis, AAS, KF, IR.
• Familiarity with cGMPs and GLPs.
• Strong math skills; knowledge of intermediate statistics.
• Strong attention to detail; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Computer literacy; working knowledge of spreadsheets.
• Ability to function well in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials, in-process, finished product, and stability samples using analytical methods.
• Document testing results in lab notebooks and on worksheets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks, equipment logs, and trackers.
• Receive, organize, store, and ship raw materials and finished products per policy.
• Support QC method development and participate in department reliability initiatives.
• Adhere to cGMP, cGLP, OSHA and other regulatory procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to new or existing personnel as needed.
