Job summary

TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Irvine, CA team, focusing on testing networking devices and cloud management. You will design tests for new features, build testbeds, and help ensure high-quality releases while collaborating with R&D engineers.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years QA experience, a degree in CS/SE or related field, and knowledge of routing/switching, IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP, SNMP, and related protocols. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant QA experience, including internships, co-op, research, or project experience.
• Understanding of networking architecture such as Routing/Switching (OSPF / BGP / IS-IS), IP, TCP/UDP, and application layers such as HTTP, SNMP, etc
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Must have continuous work authorization in the US without the need for visa sponsorships

Responsibilities

• Design new feature test plans for networking devices, surveillance products and the cloud management platform.
• Build, maintain Testbed infrastructure and triage automated regression failures with failure analysis to certify software releases.
• Review requirements, specifications and test plans from a testing perspective and provide feedback.
• Write clear procedures, bug descriptions and test reports.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot and debug issues.
