Job summary

Damotech in Naperville is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support customer projects involving storage systems and pallet racking. You will travel frequently to client sites across the United States and work with a distributed engineering team to deliver on-site inspections and reports.

The role blends field work with office duties, requiring strong analytical skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Building Engineering, or currently completing the degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering information.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and air as required.
• Comfortable working remotely and using technology to collaborate with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site conformity inspections of pallet racking and storage systems.
• Collect field measurements, technical information, and photographs.
• Perform load capacity calculations.
• Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and project deliverables.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders throughout each project.
• Travel frequently throughout the United States to complete on-site assignments.
• Develop your technical knowledge with the guidance and support of experienced engineers.
