EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our international e-Government projects from Athens, Heraklion, Rethymnon, or remotely. You will drive project lifecycles, coordinate with development teams, and report progress to clients in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing.

• Prepare progress reports and project plans.
• Deliver quality review of project deliverables.
• Attend meetings with development teams and clients.
• Report progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Escalate issues to internal management when needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and follow up on assigned projects in some or all their life cycle phases (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing);


• Follow up with the implementation team on a daily basis and monitor progress and timely execution of tasks and preparation of deliverables;


• Produce progress reports and plans;


• Quality review project deliverables;


• Participate in meetings with the development team and the client;


• Report progress to client;


• Escalate issues to internal management.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software or Electrical Engineering, or a related field;


• At least 3 years of experience in IT;


• At least 2 year of experience in leading software projects;


• Fluent written and oral communication in English

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project);


• Any project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK);


• Experience in working in Agile environments.
