Job summary

EFCO Corp. in Kent, WA is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to create visual representations of EFCO products for manufacturing and construction. The role supports other engineers and has no direct reports.

You will draft layouts, specify equipment for projects, and, under guidance, supervise tasks to meet requirements. Training includes EFCO core values and drafting standards, with travel as needed. The position emphasizes communication, mathematics, and technical skills, and requires up to 2 years

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of professional or construction experience.
• Must obtain FE (EIT certification or international equivalent) before advancing.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD).
• Problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and PC proficiency are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft preliminary layouts and engineer contracted and presale projects.
• Prepare equipment requirements for projects.
• Under guidance, supervise specific project tasks and collaborate with other personnel to meet requirements.
• Apply mathematics and technical skills to ensure designs meet EFCO’s quality standards and customer needs.
