Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. You will assist with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project performance to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree and exposure to project controls, plus familiarity with Primavera P6 and EcoSys. Travel may be required as part of this role, in support of diverse projects across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with exposure to project controls.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and cost reporting.
• Travel may be required.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analyses.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and EcoSys is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
• Updates project progress and costs; prepares time-phased forecasts.
• Develops cost and resource forecasts; validates costs.
• Generates earned value and progress reports; communicates findings.
• Performs routine analyses and documents cost/schedule impacts.
