Job summary

SMX is seeking a Junior Project Analyst to support a fast-paced systems modernization program. You will assist with documenting processes, maintaining project artifacts, coordinating activities, and helping test efforts to ensure successful data migration and modern software delivery.

You will work closely with senior analysts, engineers, and project leads to meet milestones and deliver thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
• 2+ years of experience in business process implementation and solutioning.
• 2+ years of experience with functional design.
• Experience with Army Business Processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting operational business processes, technical requirements, and stakeholder meeting outcomes.
• Maintain and organize key project artifacts, including status reports, project schedules, risk registers, and executive briefings.
• Coordinate daily project activities, schedule technical workshops, and track critical action items across engineering and functional teams.
• Support the testing team by helping to prepare test scenarios, document test execution results, and track software defect resolutions.
