Job summary

Penlink is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join its Innovation team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This early-career role translates customer and business needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions, collaborating with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.

You will conduct research, support discovery and prioritization, and help ensure products deliver value to customers. The position follows a hybrid schedule with two days per week in the Lincoln office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to translate insights into requirements.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Managers in defining requirements, priorities, and plans.
• Gather and analyze customer, business, and product information to identify needs.
• Translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, and data teams to support product development.
• Conduct market and competitive research to support decisions.
• Support backlog refinement, roadmap planning, and release activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure requirements remain clear.
• Assist with testing and validation of new functionality.
• Develop understanding of PenLink’s products, customers, and industry.
• Stay informed on AI/ML trends and potential applications.
