Job summary

GMP Engineering Inc. seeks a Jr. Process Engineer to join a cross-functional team.

You will develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design packages through CQV for GMP-compliant equipment projects used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Under guidance, you will perform Design Basis Development, PFDs, P&IDs, URS, and equipment sizing, while coordinating with vendors and clients during FATs and CQV activities.

POSITION:

You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team in the role of Jr. Process Engineer. You will develop and deliver conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design packages through to CQV for GMP-compliant integrated process equipment and unit operations used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical drug substances and products.

SUMMARY:

Working under the guidance of a senior engineer you will be responsible for:

• Process Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

LOCATION:

The primary work location will be in our New Jersey site. However, a significant aspect of the role will involve intermittent international travel, including extended periods (up to 30%) spent at equipment vendors for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and at the client's site for Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities.
