Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Trace medication discrepancies back to the source order and close gaps with pharmacy.
• Cover the weekend rotation with independent junior clinicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to coordinate care.
• Mentor junior Physician Assistant residents in Ventilator Management procedures.
• Document findings in the electronic medical record before handoff.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams.
• Round on assigned patients each shift and ensure accurate handoffs.
• Read intake histories to flag red flags a rushed junior provider might miss.
