Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Physical Properties Technician to support the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You will prepare samples, test properties of adhesives and related materials, and maintain lab equipment in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field; Chemistry and Physics preferred.
• Experience in a lab with precision measurement tools and electronic equipment.
• Experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and task management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test samples for adhesive products.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Test properties of solids, paper, tape and film (tensile, shear, bond strength).
• Measure density and viscosity; assess mechanical properties using MTS tester.

Education

Bachelor's degree in science
