Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience (e.g., shelter volunteering or pet sitting)
• High-school diploma or GED preferred
• Genuine passion for animals and grooming

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited grooming services (bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, gland cleaning)
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide top customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, disinfect tools, and assist with cleaning tasks
• Schedule grooming appointments, manage paperwork, and maintain grooming records
• Learn and adhere to Petco grooming policies and guidelines
