Job summary

Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist to begin your grooming career in our Grooming Center. The ten-week training covers bathing, drying, nail trimming, and more with guidance from seasoned groomers. Qualifications

• 0-1 year animal-related experience preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Basic understanding of dog breeds and grooming practices.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of experienced groomers, perform limited grooming services (bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, gland cleaning) per client instructions.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide top customer service.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area and tools.
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain records.
• Learn and adhere to Petco grooming policies and standards.
