Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience or grooming salon assistance is preferred.
• Basic understanding of dog breeds and grooming practices.
• Capable of handling pets of all sizes with care and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services under supervision (bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning).
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area and tools per Petco guidelines.
• Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and standards.
