Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience (shelter volunteering or pet sitting) preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Genuine passion for animals and desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.
• Basic understanding of dog breeds, behavior, and grooming practices.
• Capable of handling pets of all sizes with care and empathy.
• Effective verbal and written communication with pet parents and team.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing according to instructions and policy.
• Ensure safety and well-being of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area and tools; assist with cleaning duties.
• Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records.
