Beauty Quest Group is seeking an Associate Chemist to support development of hair care and other personal care products in Illinois. This role offers hands-on formulation experience and an opportunity to contribute fresh ideas to growing product lines.

You will formulate, test, and refine formulas, collaborate with Production and Quality, and ensure compliance with cGMP standards while advancing your career in cosmetics science.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care or cosmetics formulation preferred.
• Foundational understanding of emulsions, surfactants, polymers, and film formers.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a team.
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to think creatively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulating, researching, testing, and troubleshooting for development and stability of new and existing personal care products.
• Developing new formulas from scratch and reformulating existing products.
• Researching and utilizing new raw materials for formulas.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborating cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, and other stakeholders throughout product development.
• Maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and safety protocols.
