Job summary

General Summary

Responsibilities will be to manage the technical field data collection with survey instrumentation in the daily field duties working under crew chiefs under the direction of our licensed surveyors.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Assist in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology with the ability to supervise the crew or work independently if necessary.

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
• Completion of an apprenticeship program required.

Work Experience

• Appropriate training and experience required

Workers should be able to:

• Read engineering drawing
• Practice good safety habits
• Work in dusty or dirty surroundings
• Follow instructions and meet set standards
• Judge distances and slopes accurately
• Make decisions based on verifiable standards.

Physically, workers must be able to:

• Stoop, bend, and crouch
• Use hands, arms, and legs fully
• See well (either naturally or with correction)
• Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
