Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Junior Physical Security Specialist to support security administration at NAS Patuxent River facilities. You will work on-site, performing physical security, access control, and force protection duties while coordinating with SOC teams.

A high school diploma is required and an active DoD Secret or Interim Secret Clearance is necessary. DoD experience is a plus. The role is on-site with no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security administration tasks within SOCs at NAS Patuxent River facilities.
• Provide camera surveillance and access control coverage.
• Coordinate first responders and watch operations.
• Test alarms and monitor call boxes; coordinate OS maintenance.
• Retrieve data, reset CAC PINs and manage swipe access processes.
• Maintain training records and perform clerical duties as assigned.
