Job summary

BWXT Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin, TN seeks an Engineer 1 to perform routine engineering tasks under supervision, applying standard techniques and procedures. The role develops professional work knowledge with guidance from a manager or experienced engineer.

You will prepare written reports, drawings, and technical documents, design tests, and ensure compliance with contract requirements while collaborating with customers and other departments for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Civil Engineering preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multifunctional team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

Responsibilities
