Job summary

Lincoln Electric is hiring a Junior Network Engineer to assist in implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. This hands-on role covers LAN/WAN, wireless, security, and cloud-connected environments, ideal for a candidate who is eager to learn and detail-oriented.

The position is on-site Monday to Friday at the Euclid, OH headquarters. Local candidates in the Greater Cleveland area are preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
CCNA, Network+ or equivalent certifications preferred.
Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto hardware and network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Assist configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
Support installation and maintenance of switches, routers, APs, and related gear.
Monitor performance, availability, and capacity using enterprise tools.
Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and wireless issues across locations.
Collaborate with senior engineers on projects and deployments.
Stay current with emerging networking, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.
