Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a network engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure with focus on reliability and security.

You will work with IT teams to develop policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure DHMS IT compliance, with hands-on experience in Cisco/Juniper equipment and Wireshark-based diagnostics. CCNA/CCNP preferred; SDN familiarity would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 4 years of experience in network administration.
• Strong understanding of network principles and experience with Cisco/Juniper.
• Advanced diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize network infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop network policies.
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment (Cisco, Juniper) using Wireshark.
• Conduct network assessments and develop automated configurations.
