Richesin Engineering, LLC is seeking an entry to mid-level network engineer to work alongside senior engineers on telecom, broadband, and ISP infrastructure projects across Oregon, Alaska, and Hawaii. The role involves hands-on configuration, site surveys, and troubleshooting in diverse environments.
You'll gain real-world skills through mentorship, with opportunities to work on ISP, tribal broadband, and emergency communications projects. Travel is expected to project sites as needed.
This is not an IT helpdesk job with a fancy title. This is a real engineering role where you'll be working alongside experienced engineers on telecom, broadband, and ISP infrastructure projects across Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, and wherever else the work takes us.
We're looking for someone early in their networking career who has the fundamentals down, learns fast, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty — sometimes literally. You'll work on routing, switching, wireless, and structured cabling in environments that range from tribal broadband deployments to emergency communications sites. No two projects are the same.
You won't be thrown in the deep end alone. You'll work directly with our senior engineers and pick up real-world skills faster than you would at most companies. If you're hungry to build a career in network engineering — not just punch tickets — this is the job.
You will occasionally be configuring gear in a equipment shed in rural Alaska or on a rooftop in 95° Maui heat. You'll work with clients who have high expectations and aging infrastructure. The pace is real. So is the experience you'll gain. If you want to sit in an air-conditioned NOC and watch dashboards all day, we're probably not the right fit. If you want to build your skills on projects that actually matter to real communities, we are.
