Job summary

Intertech, Inc. is seeking an entry level Software Engineer to join a local team in Cold Spring, MN for an onsite contract-to-hire role. You will contribute to full-stack development, front-end support, CMS website work, and ongoing QA testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field preferred.
• 2-year IT/Programming-related degree with experience may be considered.
• 0–2 years of software development experience.
• Experience with C#, .NET, MVC, ASP.NET, MS SQL, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5/CSS, JS/JQuery/AJAX.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to drive projects to completion.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cold Spring, MN.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development.
• Support and development of front end of web-based applications.
• Support and development of existing applications.
• Support and development of several websites based on CMS technologies.
• Perform QA testing and write unit tests, working closely with the QA team — a significant and ongoing responsibility in this role.
• Provide technical input/guidance when needed.
• Research new technologies and share how they could be integrated into our environment.
• Troubleshooting and debugging both internal and external code.
• Use of Agile development methodology.
