Universal Music Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Junior Motion Designer to contribute to engaging motion content for artist campaigns and digital marketing. You will work with a Creative Pod and report to a Senior Motion Designer, translating direction into platform-ready visuals.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of motion design experience, strong typography, and a passion for music-driven storytelling. This role is on-site in Philadelphia with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of motion design experience, internship or professional.
• Proficiency in After Effects with working knowledge of Premiere Pro.
• Strong typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Execute motion assets across social, CRM, paid media, storefront, and campaign touchpoints.
• Animate typography, layouts, and graphic systems developed by Digital Design teams.
• Support creation of motion toolkits and templates for scalable campaigns.
• Adapt concepts into multiple platform formats and aspect ratios.
• Collaborate with Senior Motion Designers to refine pacing and transitions.
• Integrate video, photography, and graphic assets into cohesive outputs.
• Prepare files for delivery across digital platforms with technical compliance.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to workflow standards.
• Incorporate feedback from Creative Directors with clarity and precision.
• Stay informed on evolving motion trends and tools.
