Job summary

The Heist, the motion design, live action, and post production studio within Thinkingbox, is seeking a motion designer to shape looks and animation for micro-content campaigns and AR apps. You’ll work from sketch to animation on 2D and 3D assets across social, web, and experiential projects.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years at an agency or studio, strong After Effects skills, and a reel that shows 2D/3D motion craft.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years at an agency or animation studio.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects.
• Strong 2D/3D motion design portfolio and a demo reel.
• Ability to take direction and meet deadlines.
• Experience with C4D/Blender/Maya and Redshift is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D animation for platforms including but not limited to web, social media, out of home activations and good ol’ standalone content
• A willingness to learn new skills and software driven by your own curiosity
• Keep up to date with current design, visual art trends and best practices
• Accurately estimate time to assigned tasks
• Adapt to project roadblocks with a solution driven approach
