Job summary

Universal Music Group’s Fame House division in Philadelphia is seeking a Junior Motion Designer to contribute to artist campaigns and digital marketing across platforms. You will work within a Creative Pod, translating direction into engaging motion assets that enhance brand storytelling.

You will collaborate with Digital Designers, Creative Directors and Content Production teams to develop platform-ready visuals, focusing on craft, growth, and execution within structured systems.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of motion design experience
  • Proficiency in After Effects with working knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Strong foundation in typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Basic understanding of animation principles including timing, easing, and pacing
  • Experience creating motion content for social or digital platforms
  • Ability to take direction, iterate quickly, and learn in a collaborative team environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Passion for music, culture, and digital storytelling
  • Curiosity about emerging motion techniques, formats, and tools

Responsibilities

Position

Junior Motion Designer

The Junior Motion Designer supports the development and execution of motion content across artist campaigns, storefront experiences, and digital marketing initiatives. Embedded within a Creative Pod and reporting to a Senior Motion Designer or Motion Lead, this role contributes to the creation of engaging, platform‑ready motion assets that enhance brand storytelling and commercial performance.

Working closely with Digital Designers, Creative Directors, and Content Production teams, the Junior Motion Designer translates established creative direction into dynamic visual executions. This role is focused on craft development, technical growth, and executional excellence within structured creative systems.

Salary

Salary Range: $54,000–$75,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, education, certifications, and location.
