SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software developer for the Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) project in Tacoma, WA. The role emphasizes AI/ML foundations, large language models, and software development in a security-conscious environment.

The position requires an interim Secret Clearance and US Citizenship. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Go, Python, JavaScript, Vue.js, databases, and API/SDK integration. Exposure to Docker and containerization is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with software development languages like GO, Python, Javascript, and Vue.js.
• Understanding of data storage and retrieval utilizing databases, S3 storage containers and/or S3 storage environments
• AI/ML knowledge: entry/foundational ML concepts, model lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring)
• Experience using CPU/GPU for ML and model training
• Experience integrating SDKs and APIs with tools and pipelines

Responsibilities

• Expand and enhance automation capabilities within the MLOps ecosystem.
• Automate model training processes for repeatability and scalable architecture.
• Design architecture to scale data sources and model outputs; inject configuration management.
