TikTok in San Jose is hiring a machine learning engineer to build scalable ML systems that improve ads ranking quality and optimize advertisers' strategies. You will work on CTR/CVR prediction, intelligent format selection, and user journey optimization.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and engineers to explore the next generation of shopping experiences on TikTok, applying ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and languages like Go, C/C++, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Solid programming skills in Go, C/C++, Python; Linux development environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and statistics knowledge.
• Theoretical grounding in ML and deep learning (CNN/RNN/LSTM, etc.).
• Experience with one ML framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch/MXNet).
