Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of client standards, policies and procedures by reading and applying design guides, standards and codes.
• Supports Commonwealth Associates quality program.
• Contributes to process and practices innovation by suggesting improvements.
• Pursues high-quality performance and seeks guidance from mentors.
• Attends client meetings and site visits with a mentor.
• Represents the company's emerging professional engineers at career fairs as needed.
• Gathers data and supports internal project teams; coordinates with cross-functional groups.
• Prepares documents with administrative staff; develops basic engineering deliverables.
• Performs routine research and recommends equipment/materials.
• Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods.
• Works within budgeted hours, schedule and quality requirements.
• Completes expense reports and timesheets with supervisor input.
• Understands project scope management.
