Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer I to design and develop mechanical components and systems for space applications at our Glendale, AZ site. You will work onsite with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of mechanical design experience, a technical Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in CAD software. Advanced degrees and aerospace exposure are valued. No visa sponsorships provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 0–2 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and familiarity with design tools.
• Understanding of mechanical analysis and simulation concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Support prototype development and testing activities to validate mechanical designs.
