Job summary

With 0–2 years of related experience and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, you will design equipment for rail, transit, aviation and infrastructure, perform studies and cost estimates, and coordinate closely with contractors under senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• EIT in process or pursuing FE exam.
• MEP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and specifies equipment, facilities, components, and systems for rail, transit, aviation, and infrastructure.
• Participates in design studies, analyses and cost estimates.
• Engages in client meetings and on-site inspections with senior staff.
• Design drawings, write and review specifications, and develop calculation reports.
• Uses CAD software to perform engineering tasks.
• Coordinate design with outside consultants and contractors.
