Job summary

Solvarus Consulting seeks a Junior Model Based System Engineer to join an MBSE-focused team in Chantilly, VA. You will create MBSE artifacts and models, define data standards, and integrate tools across requirements, CONOPS, architecture, and testing.

The role requires 0–5 years with a BS or 2–3 years with an MS and an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. You will collaborate with IPTs to advance mission-capable space and ground systems, leveraging NoMagic Cameo EA, Rhapsody, and Sparx EA, while

Qualifications

• 0–5 years with a BS/BA or 2–3 years with an MS/MA
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required
• BS in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, CS, or related STEM
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and modeling methods to produce SE models
• Knowledge of UML/SysML and applying it to MBSE solutions
• Experience with lifecycle development and end-to-end systems engineering
• Strong verbal and written communication with tool developers and customers

Responsibilities

• Create engineering artifacts and MBSE models using NoMagic Cameo EA, Rhapsody, Sparx EA
• Define data standards, data structures and supporting technologies
• Integrate enterprise tools and MBSE processes across requirements engineering, CONOPS, architecture, and testing
• Facilitate collaboration between MBSE users and tool developers
• Provide technical guidance on MBSE methods and implementations
