Job summary

HOLT Manufacturing is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical and troubleshooting support for component production, including fixturing, machining applications, safe practices, and programming. The role uses CAD to draft blueprints and supports multiple machine types such as cut tables and machining centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three to five years in manufacturing operations or operational experience required.
• Up to two years of computer-aided design (CAD) software required.

Responsibilities

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the use of HOLT values-based leadership tools.
• Acts as a specialist with respect to programming software to establish processes.
• Provides input on fixturing/work holding and cutting tools to meet objectives.
• Maintains machining and forming processes to specifications and tests quality.
• Mentors operators in process use and ensures programs are not permanently modified.
• Communicates issues to Operations Supply Chain Manager.
• Maintains CAD file organization and security.
• Partners with engineering design groups to resolve machining challenges during NPI and before production release.
• Assists with continuous improvement activities and 5S development.
• Monitors adherence to quality standards and addresses issues.
