Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation in Salem, VA is seeking a production operator to operate and monitor machinery used in the production of our medical device components. You may assist in basic setup, calibration and maintenance of equipment and perform finish operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 0–1 year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to read blueprints and work with small precision parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational training preferred.
• 0–1 year experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to work with small precision parts.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety and quality requirements.
• Operates machinery used in production with close supervision.
• May assist in basic setup and calibration of equipment.
• Loads materials into tools and performs finishing operations.
• Reads and follows operating manuals and procedures.
• Inspects parts visually and dimensionally for conformance.
• Maintains documentation for product manufacturing.
• Cleans and maintains machinery as necessary.
• Performs other required functions.
