Marsoft Inc. seeks a Junior Market Analyst (LNG) to support LNG market coverage by building data, models, and reports.

You’ll contribute to supply/demand models, scenario forecasts, and vessel valuations used by banks, lessors, investors, and shipowners to inform lending and investment decisions. You’ll grow into ownership, producing quarterly Base/High/Low forecasts for freight rates and prices by vessel age, translating disruptions into actionable scenarios, and maintaining market datasets

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field related to economics or finance.
• Experience or coursework in forecasting or econometric methods.
• Ability to present analyses clearly to professional audiences.
• Willingness to defend assumptions and adjust views with data.

Responsabilidades

• Help build and maintain supply, demand, and earnings models for LNG carrier market.
• Produce quarterly Base, High, and Low Case forecasts by vessel age.
• Translate geopolitical disruptions into explicit scenario assumptions.
• Reconcile model estimates with actual fixtures and transactions.
• Write quarterly market reports and monthly eBriefs; build chartpacks.
• Test releases in valuation software for consistency across vessels.
• Answer client questions on valuations, costs, and forecasts.
• Maintain datasets from brokers, freight indices, and AIS data.
• Support senior analysts with data, charts, and client reports.
