Job summary

Astrion is hiring a Junior Life Cycle Logistician at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH to support AFLCMC/WIS within the ISR/SOF Directorate. The role requires a Secret clearance, full-time status, and travel of 10-20%.

Responsibilities focus on life cycle logistics across 12 IPEs, with duties spanning strategy planning, documentation, budget input, and change evaluation. The successful candidate will have a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and will contribute to acquisition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with up to three years of experience or five years of related experience.
• Experience in life cycle logistics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Possess the knowledge to perform tasks related to Life Cycle Logistics.
• Provide life cycle logistics expertise related to the 12 integrated product support elements.
• Prepare for acquisition strategy planning, program reviews, meetings, and IPTs.
• Gather and compile information, prepare briefing charts, and track action items.
• Assist in budget estimates and evaluation of cost, schedules, performance, and risks.
• Advise on evaluating changes and drafting logistics-related directives and standards.
• Assist in planning and activation of bases receiving new aircraft and equipment.
• Perform depot source of repair planning and activation per applicable guidelines.
• Review SE data and provide recommendations to ensure proper SE availability.
• Assess facilities requirements to support system operation and sustainment.
• Develop supply support requirements to meet availability metrics.
