Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance for a variety of properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial landscaping equipment safely, and assist with plant material upkeep.

You will cut turf, prune shrubs, plant beds, and maintain overall landscape aesthetics while following safety procedures and reporting any hazards to the Crew Leader.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to safely operate basic landscaping tools.
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and edge/trim with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain flower beds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along walkways and beds.
• Keep areas clean by picking up debris before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter.
• Perform weeding by hand or with garden hoe/hula hoe.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment to extend life.
• Remove trash and unhealthy plants.
• Maintain polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
