Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Jr. Knowledge Manager (OBI) to support a Federal Government client in the NCR region, including Maryland and Virginia. Availability is contingent on contract award.

The role focuses on aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing, managing multiple databases, and developing workflows and interfaces for knowledge management capabilities. TS/SCI clearance is required or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university.
• An additional 4 years of experience in the labor category may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.

Responsibilities

• Assist aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
• Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shape workflow and processes.
• Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for knowledge management capabilities including search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data.
• Disseminate intelligence products across networks and portals.
• Design and develop a user-friendly interface for deliverables and documentation; ensure accessibility for all users.
• Develop workflows for document and information sharing and document management with search and retrieval.

Description:

• Assists aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
• Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.
• Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings.
• Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.

Specific OBI duties:

• Design and develop a user-friendly interface for the deliverables and documentation, ensuring easy navigation and accessibility for all users.
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and ensure the ontologies meet the needs of the OBI practitioners.
• Develop workflows for document and information sharing, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders have access to the information they need.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and document business processes and develop workflows to support these processes.
• Develop a document management system, including features such as document upload, search, and retrieval.
• Ensure that all documents are properly stored, retrievable, and version controlled.
• Develop an API for integration with other systems, including project management tools and customer relationship management tools.
• Ensure that all integrations are properly tested and validated before implementation.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize updates and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Use data and analytics to inform design decisions and ensure the application is optimized for user experience.
• Provide ongoing training and support to users on the use of the application, including workflows and documentation.
• Ensure that users are aware of the benefits and best practices for using the application.

Job Requirements

Desired Experiences:

• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education:

• Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Security Clearance:

• Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.

Location:

• NCR to include Maryland and Virginia.
