Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a Java-focused developer to build scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, and SQL/NoSQL databases. You will own the full development lifecycle within an Agile Scrum team, from planning to production deployment.

You will write clean, maintainable code, conduct reviews, and create comprehensive technical docs for APIs and applications. Knowledge of AI/LLM concepts and Spring AI/LangChain4j is a plus.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming with APIs and data structures.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure reliability through testing.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
• Participate in Agile Scrum, owning the full development lifecycle from planning to optimization.
• Create technical documentation for applications and APIs.
• Deploy to production with CI/CD, monitoring, and security considerations.
• Stay updated with Java technologies and evolving AI/LLM concepts.
