Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking an AI developer to build scalable, production-ready Spring Boot microservices and intelligent tool-using agents. You will own the development lifecycle from design to deployment in cloud-native environments.

The role emphasizes Java and OOP, Spring AI or LangChain4j, RAG pipelines, and modern web technologies (React.js, HTML, CSS). Visa sponsorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS or related field.
• 0–1 year of practical Java coding experience.
• Experience with Spring, Maven, React.js, HTML, CSS.
• Knowledge of relational DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL.
• Spring AI or LangChain4j experience; RAG app building or vector DB knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Experience with one or more OOP programming languages, including Java, C++, C#, similar languages.
• Write clean and efficient code, and ensure code maintainability and reusability.
• Conduct testing to ensure application reliability.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
• Participate in Agile Scrum and own the full development lifecycle from planning to optimization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and deployment procedures.
• Ship to production: APIs, monitoring/observability, cost/performance optimization, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Stay up to date with latest Java development technologies.
• Implement RAG pipelines using Spring AI and LangChain4j with vector database integration.
• Stay current with RAG tech, embeddings, retrieval optimization, and reranking techniques.
