Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • CNIM eligibility via ABRET (or equivalent) is expected.
  • R EEG T or R EPT certification is acceptable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and work in operating rooms.
  • Ability to obtain medical malpractice coverage and hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain detailed medical history and consult with surgeon on monitoring plan.
  • Communicate monitoring data to the surgical team during procedures.
  • Label and measure waveforms, latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
  • Select appropriate protocols and troubleshoot data collection.
  • Complete IOM logs and maintain documentation.
  • Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform checks.
  • Travel to field sites as required and uphold compliance standards.
