Wolf & Company, P.C. in Boston is seeking an entry-level Internal Auditor to join its growing Advisory group. The role supports audits of financial institutions and other clients, helping strengthen internal controls and provide practical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

Assists in developing an internal audit plan for each project and reviews objectives, risks, and scope with management.
Analyzes procedures and reports to identify potential problems.
Assesses effectiveness of internal controls relative to safeguarding assets and adhering to sound business practices and requirements.
Analyzes financial data to verify the accuracy and integrity of the information.
Reviews audit results with Wolf and client management.
Prepares clear, concise and objective work papers and reports for management.
