Job summary

ZGF Architects in Portland is seeking an Entry Level Interior Designer to join the Interiors Group. You will work under supervision, collaborate with the design team, and contribute to design drawings, models, and marketing materials.

Applicants should have graduated from an Interior Design program; professional experience is beneficial but not required. Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Sketch-Up, and Adobe Suite is expected, and the role offers a competitive base salary with strong benefits.

Qualifications

Graduated from a professional Interior Design program.
Professional experience is beneficial but not required; creative curiosity is required.
Experience with design documentation is valuable.
Basic understanding of design and construction principles.
Good communication and graphic skills with modeling and rendering ability.

Responsibilities

Will be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovation.
Collaborate with the design team for generating and developing design ideas.
Produce design drawings, presentation drawings, graphic design work, and digital and physical modeling.
Work under close supervision and receive instruction and mentoring regarding tasks and management.
Perform interior design assignments and work collaboratively toward design solutions.
