Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA-accredited design program or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of industry, internship, or related design/project support experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and willingness to build advanced proficiency with CET & AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with basic installation drawings, furniture plans, and supporting documentation.
• Foundational understanding of systems furniture, product specifications, finishes, and workplace design concepts.
• Organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and collaborative.
• Works within defined processes and procedures with close to moderate guidance from senior designers or Team Leads.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detailed CET drawings, including furniture plans, revisions, typicals, and basic 3D views under guidance from senior team members.
• Support the preparation and modification of installation drawings and related project documentation.
• Coordinate with Team Leads and the Design Manager by providing timely updates on assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Partner with designers, Account Executives, and Sales leadership to understand project goals and client requirements.
• Assist with finish selections, product research, sample ordering, and specification documentation.
• Maintain internal reporting tools and project records with accurate information.
• Review drawings and field information to help identify discrepancies between plans, specifications, and site conditions.
• Develop knowledge of manufacturer products, systems furniture, workplace trends, and dancker standards.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination discussions as appropriate.
