Job summary

Wilson Butler Architects, an award‑winning design studio in Boston, seeks an Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience in commercial or hospitality projects. The role requires a professional degree in Interior Design, strong communication, and proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.

You will develop concepts, create drawings and boards, coordinate with consultants and clients, and balance multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in commercial and/or hospitality design.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills; attention to detail; Revit proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design interior environments.
• Research images, precedents and inspiration; develop design concepts.
• Create or assist with a global vision for a client; present boards and slide decks.
• Maintain positive and strong client relationships.
• Product research and contacting representatives for information and samples.
• Select finishes, materials, furniture, and some lighting and equipment.
• Assist with construction documents including elevations, sections, and construction notes.
• Develop data into finish and furniture legends and schedules.
• Render elevations and plans including furniture and floor finish layouts.
• Help maintain interior materials library; provide space planning ideas.
