Job summary

Nicole Fuller Interiors NYC office seeks a talented Junior Interior Designer to join our luxury design team. The role focuses on delivering high-end residential, multi-family and commercial projects with passion and precision.

You will collaborate with senior staff, develop concepts through completion, produce drawings and 3D renderings using SketchUp, Enscape and AutoCAD, and select fabrics and FF&E to meet project goals and client expectations. Portfolio required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in an architecture or interior design studio.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Studio Designer.
• Strong hand-sketching skills and an art background preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of fabrics, upholstery, and high-end design materials a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and craftsmanship.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Nicole, senior designers, vendors, sub-contractors & clients to develop innovative interior design concepts for luxury residential & commercial projects.
• Contribute to the development of interior design schemes from concept through to completion, ensuring designs are aligned with project goals & client expectations. Maintain clear and organized records of correspondence and meetings.
• Produce detailed drawings, develop 3D models and renderings using SketchUp and Enscape. Create and update technical drawings in AutoCAD.
• Select and develop fabric and furniture specifications.
• Source and document all finishes and FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment).
